Sunset at the Key West Hyatt

THE BEAUTIFUL KEY WEST HYATT RESORT WAS THE PLACE TO BE!

We had more fun putting on this show than you generally can with all your clothes on!

We really had a great time at the Hyatt! I would like to take this time to thank the employees of the Hyatt who helped us put this show together - Raphael and Tanya and Jenn and Ava and Michelle!!!

I also want to thank all of the performers who played their hearts out on stage for us all week long! SPECIAL THANKS TO:

JERRY GONTANG, GARY SEILER, LEO DEAN, HUGO DUARTE, MATT HALL, JOE RATHBURN, JIM HOEHN, SONNY RUSSELL, JERRY DIAZ!!

Each of these performers are really top of the line musicians and we wish them all the luck in the world and hope they all "LIVE ON DREAMS" as Gary Seiler is doing.

Hugo, I want to thank you for all the years of making my weekends special down at the Hog's Breath Saloon. Even though we were buried back in the crowd somewhere, we have loved your "Hillbilly Beach" style for years! We also want to thank Emily Hutchison for getting Hugo to play for us. Girl, you have quite a voice, and you can sing for me anytime, anywhere! Yeh baby! "ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE"

We want to thank Matt Hall of St. Somewhere for stopping by. Matt, we hope your new endeavors apart from St. Somewhere are rewarding and fruitful! You are one hell of an entertainer, son! You and Hugo do one hell of a Mutt and Jeff!

Leo Dean, I love your style and your song about Jimmy Buffett not living in Key West anymore. It is a hoot! You know I am an old Georgia peach myself. Keep up the good work!

Jim Hoehn, you are one crazy piece of cheese!! What can I say????? I hum your song "He's away from his desk" all day long at work. Jim is a national sports writer by day, and an entertainer by night and weekend.

Jerry Diaz, thanks for sharing some of your fun Texas style with us! You added some fun and great songs to our show.

Sadly, most of us had such a great time at the Hyatt that we missed the main street parade on Friday and missed our fearless leader, Jimmy Buffett himself! I was very pleased and impressed that Jimmy paid MOTM a personal visit this year. What would we do without him?? Where would we be without him?? We sat in Margaritaville Wednesday night all night long listening to Matt Hall and St. Somewhere, and NO, we missed Jimmy because he came in the next night! I have been wanting to meet and talk to Jimmy for the last 15 years especially after reading his book "A Pirate Looks at 50". I think I learned that this man is more like me than I can explain. We are both pilots, lived in South Florida and the Keys, and share a passion for many things in common, even beyond music. "SOMEDAY I WILL"!

Lastly, I have to thank the 2 guys who have made me feel a part of San Diego these last 2 years since we moved out west from St.Pete Beach; Jerry Gontang of KOKO LOCO and Gary Seiler of BUFFED OUT. I worship the 2 of you and can only thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support and friendship you have given me these last 2 years. Buy their CD's folks, they make you feel great and put you in touch with who you are and where you want to be.

THANKS FOREVER AND SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!
