Last night was the 3rd annual performance by EVE SELIS "At The Wang's" in Poway CA. Eve added Kim McLean and Devon O'Day to the show. I have always raved about Eve's energy and emotion on the stage, but last night, she simply out did herself. This show was enough to keep me going for another year or so! Kim McLean and Devon O'Day are from Nashville and the Wang's brought them both in special for xmas. Kim writes songs and sings like an angel (like Emmy Lou) and Devon brought tears to my eyes quite un-expectedly with one of her solo vocals with no instrumentation. Eve is blessed with Marc Twang Intravaia and Cactus Jack Soldi and Sharon Whyte and Rick Nash and Bob Sale. There were at least 3 standing ovations during the show!

I have lots of events going on that I need to talk about and some very good new artists to rave about. In no particular order, PHINS TO THE WEST IS COMING UP in April (9-11) again at the AVI CASINO RESORT, and I am proud to announce that I will be participating with this grand group of Parrot Heads, along with some of my best friends and artists. Local song writer and entertainer BOB KARWIN performed down in Carlsbad CA and Bob was crazy enough to have old Hurricane Gordon join in. Bob has 3 very good CD's out and Bob is astonishingly original in every way. His new CD "PROPER ATTIRE" is way cool and he has a voice somewhere between Jack Johnson and Jackson Browne. Bob, keep up the good work and see you in Laughlin Nevada!

WOW! I just got back from a 3 week trip to Key West for MOTM and a visit to South Texas and Kelly McGuire, where we recorded a show. The Key West Hyatt event was so cool, that I will build a special link page for it asap.
I had a cool and fun time with Rick Steffen and Linda playing at the famous "ALABAMA JACK'S" bar on Card Sound/ Key Largo the Monday after MOTM. This place is way off the beaten track, but is one in a million! THANKS RICK and good luck on your new CD "MANGO MUSIC"!

It looks like BARMUSIC.COM is going to have a great show in Key West November 1-6, 2004 at the Key West Hyatt once again! For the last 2 years we have been
building steam with the event and this year, the response is very exciting!
Despite all the Hurricanes, fans are going to Key West for MOTM in record
numbers this year and according to PHIP, the events at MOTM ARE SOLD OUT!
I will put out a whisper list later this week, but you will be very pleasantly
surprised at the guest list this year. We have been contacted by several
regulars at the various MARGARITAVILLE CAFE's around the country, and this
year we will have some new TOP NAMES for your vacation pleasure and fun.
And of course, we will have the same great folks as the last 2 years too!

CHECK OUT LAST YEAR'S EVENT:
A note to those of you who considered our BARMUSIC IN PARADISO 2004 event that
we had to re-schedule.... Both the management of the resort and BARMUSIC.COM
were focused on making sure everything would have been exactly as you would
wanted and expected it to be. There turned out to be too many conflicting
events that were just flat out competing for the same folks at the same time.
We determined that there were no casualties last week and that a complete
re-schedule for next year would be much smarter. WE TRIED! Thanks go to
Mexico Mark Mulligan and Gary Seiler and PARADISO for giving it the old college
try! Next year will really be a great event because we have more time to plan
and other Key events such as "PHINS TO THE WEST" have been scheduled in April
which does not cause a conflict with their great new event!

Sunny Jim White - Floyd White
All kinds of good things are happening this week! Mark Mulligan and I recorded
a show at "PHINS TO THE WEST" in Laughlin Nevada at the AVI Casino Resort the
first weekend in May and it will be aired on Radio Margaritaville several
times this weekend. Starting Saturday 7-17-04 at 3AM EST(Midnight PST Friday 7-16-04)
and 3PM EST(noon PST) and 11PM EST (8PM PST)
on Sunday 7-18-04.
Gary Seiler - Jim White
On Wednesday night Sunny Jim White put on a show at the Wangs in San Diego
that was a beautiful and intimate show up close and personal. Our local
Gary Seiler opened for Jim and later in the show Gary and Jim did a couple
of Gary's songs together. What a rare treat indeed. Sunny Jim is from my
home stomping grounds on the West Coast of Florida and Sunny Jim played
for something like 12 years at the Hyatt in Grand Caymen before coming
back stateside. We have to tell you that the apple does not fall far from
the tree because Jim's father Floyd White, from Houston, got up on stage
and almost stole the show away from "Little Jimmy Sunshine" <-- he hates
that nick name Jim Morriss dubbed him. Jim's wife Adela, works at RADIO
MARGARITAVILLE in Bradenton Florida. Now who is the real star here???

I must apologize to all our loyal listeners of RADIO.BARMUSIC.COM for the
fact that we have been experiencing some technical difficulties with our
internet providers during a recent facilities move. Everything is back up
and running solid now. We switched our Shoutcast server to run entirely
on FREE BSD UNIX, which is working much better than Windows XP did.
Hot news just in ....-> Mexico Mark Mulligan admitted in public that he had
a special moment with a nun in elementary school. I can't tell you the details
myself, but go to his web site and read all about it, or even better yet,
TUNE IN TOMORROW TO THE NEW MARK MULLIGAN SHOW on RADIO.BARMUSIC.COM that
will air for the first time 6-17-04!!!! Catch all the dirt on all the stars

This Friday, 5-28-04, we are changing our internet IP addresses due to a move
of our servers down the street. Please note that for a couple of weeks the old
IP's will be wrong. If you clear your browser cache, and reboot, BARMUSIC.COM
should come back up. Thanks to AT&T, our phone lines have been down since May
17th.
You would think we were in Mexico and not the USA! Ten days without phone service
is incredible to believe in 2004! Believe it! It is happening to us.
Moving locations is pure HELL! Sorry about the inconvenience.

"PHINS TO THE WEST" was the place to be this last weekend. This was the 1st
annual phlocking event held at the exciting AVI Resort Casino in Laughlin
Nevada. Congratulations go to the chairman Jim Hill and Pete Ferralli for
putting together the greatest show west of the rockies this year! There is
so much to say about this event that I am making a special web site just for
this event. I will have photos and videos posted as soon as possible. The
show was recorded by BARMUSIC.COM and will be rushed to the edit process so
we can get it on the air as soon as possible.
Thanks go to all the musicians who played and special thanks to the AVI Resort

Saturday was the best show of the year as far as Parrot Heads were concerned.
The San Diego Parrot Head club held it's 9th Annual Party at Campland On The
Bay and the music started on time at 11AM and ran on schedule until quitting
time at 11PM +/-. The musical line up was awesome and included the following
entertainers/bands:
John Bowe and Island Breeze, Jeff Lee, Joe Rathburn, Mexico Mark Mulligan,
Taylor Harvey/Tim Edwards & crew, Gary Seiler, Jerry Gontang, "Hurricane" Froggy Gordon and the
Cabo Crew (Charlie Loach, Bob Kanish, Buzz Buchanan), Mark Baxter/Todd Jacks/Al Greenman, Stars On The Water, Rob Mehl
WHAT A SHOW AND FUN DAY! Congratulations to Bill and Jan Wang for running the
stage like clock work. Dual stages really was the ticket for making the show
professional with no down time. What a fun day! Gary Seiler was the MC and as
could be expected, he cracked everybody up all day long. He does not probably
remember the grass skirt and coconut bra he was wearing Saturday night.

Friday, April 16th 2004, there will be an "INDIE BY DESIGN" night held at the
Music Mart in Solana Beach. Jerry Olsher puts on some great shows and this
one is one you don't want to miss.
Daniel Lo Presti and Chris Klick and Scott Carter are on the line up for the
evening. The Music Mart is loacted in the shopping center at the South West
corner of I5 and Lomas Santa Fe in Solana Beach CA.

Mark Mulligan just sent me the new CD below! Man is Mark smooth as silk. This
guy knows how to write love songs like nobody else. You really have to pay
attention to what he is trying to tell you in melodic simple English! My
immediate problem is that I am paying attention to his lyrics and want to do

Mark your calendars for Thursday night, 4-22-04. BARMUSIC.COM is putting on
a Pre-party house concert raising money for the SDPHC annual charity fund
raiser. Rob Mehl and Taylor Harvey and Tim Edwards and Jerry Olsher are on the play bill along
with "Hurricane" Gordon and the Cabo Crew. BARMUSIC.COM is inviting all of
it's musicians that have aired on Radio Margaritaville to come play a set

I just discovered that the Steve White show is scheduled to be on the air at
RADIO MARGARITAVILLE on Friday 4-2-04 at 3 different times. Congratulations
Steve!
Yesterday, Cheri Robertson held a house concert for ROB MEHL for his CD release
party. What a beautiful day, a beautiful house with a pool and stage, and
what inspirational stories and music by ROB MEHL! Cheri has the PERFECT venue
for music and fun for sure. Congrats Cheri!! Job well done!
The day had an interesting surprise. Rob Mehl invited the DUO-TONES led by
"MR. MOTO" Paul Johnson to play a set with his companion, GIL ORR
(of the Chantay's). The DUO-TONES are the greatest instrumental surf music
guitar players alive on this earth. I was blown right back in time 40 years
with the most pleasing sounds from heaven. Surf music is what I grew up on!

Rob Mehl just completed his new CD "JUST GIVE ME THE KEYS" and we were lucky
enough to catch him in our studio today and have him do a one hour show
for RADIO.BARMUSIC.COM and RADIO MARGARITAVILLE (we hope)! Rob's new CD is
one of the best I have seen produced locally. His new CD is really an in depth
view of Rob's inner self and is very theme oriented. His music has purpose
and the lyrics tell a story. I was more than impressed with the songs and
his writing ability, and then blown away by the back up musicians. Mark Twang
was evident with killer guitar and Eve Selis was singing harmony and vocals
in the background. Wait till you see the cover and inner pages! We will
have the show on the air as soon as it gets out of editing. GREAT JOB ROB!!

Things are really starting to hop this year already. The MUSIC MART SHOW on
January 9th turned out much better than ever expected. We had a packed house
and heard STEVE WHITE for the very first time. Steve was so marvelous that
we convinced him to do a live recorded radio show for RADIO BARMUSIC. In
fact, I talked to Carson Cooper of RADIO MARGARITAVILLE about this guy and so I
am sending the show to RADIO MARGARITAVILLE for a shot there. The new STEVE
WHITE SHOW is now playing as of today on RADIO BARMUSIC.COM !
I need to thank the CABO CREW who played at the MUSIC MART SHOW with me.
The CABO CREW consisted of: CHARLIE LOACH, BOB KANISH, BUZZ BUCHANAN, GARY
SEILER, JERRY GONTANG and "HURRICANE" GORDON. The other entertainers who played
were ROB MEHL, STEVE WHITE, "THE WILD TRUTH" and JERRY OLSHER.

up the weekend of May 14th-17th, and the event is being sponsored in part by
MEXICO MARK MULLIGAN and BARMUSIC.COM. Last year's premier event was held
in October, and the PARADISO RESORT was an incredible beautiful surprise
to all of us who had never been to San Carlos Mexico before. The resort had
just been hit by a hurricane earlier in the month, and is now being renovated
for this year's event. Mark Mulligan urges everyone to be patient and hang
in there. The phone and internet communications to Mexico have been broken
down but are being remedied as we speak. YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS

What a year 2003 turned out to be! Lots of fun and new friends and some great
new music floated up. Looks like 2004 is starting off with a bang too!
This Friday night, 1-9-04, at the MUSIC MART in Solana Beach, BARMUSIC.COM will sponsor
a show with Jerry Olsher that will feature around 5-6 entertainers/groups
who will perform their original songs live to the public. The show will start
at 7:30PM and admission is $10. for adults over 18, $5. for teenagers, and kids
under 12 are free. The MUSIC MART is located at the intersection of I5 and
LOMAS SANTA FE on the west side of I5 in the shopping center, located there
in Solana Beach. The line up for the show includes "THE WILD TRUTH" with
Sven Seaholm, Gary Seiler, Jerry Gontang, "HURRICANE" Gordon and crew, Steve
White and Rob Mehl.
This show will be recorded and aired on RADIO.BARMUSIC.COM either live or
the same weekend, depending on conditions. Come on out and support these
